20 mi. long; located partially on land administered by the Bureau of Land Management, 33 mi NW of the community of Glennallen; Tps 7-10N, Rgs5-6W, Copper River Meridian.
History
The name is of Ahtna origin and means “land ridge” or “earth ridge”.
