NW of Lake Louise, 23 mi NW of Glennallen, Copper River Basin. 6000 acres in size. Maximum depth is 120 feet. Shoreline length is 22 miles.

Local name published by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1951; named because of crosswinds encountered by plane when landing on this lake.
