Hanagita Lake is located in course of Hanagita River, 32 mi. SW of McCarthy, Chugach Mts. 1 mile long.
History
This is the name of a chief of the Taral Indians; reported in 1911 by D. C. Witherspoon (Moffit, 1914, pl. 1), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
