History
Name used by fishermen; reported in 1897 by Lieutenant Commander J. F. Moser, U.S. Navy (USN), commander of the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) steamer Albatross from 1897 to 1901, who made surveys and investigations in this area.
