Split Creek is located flows N to Bering Lake, 8 mi. NE of Katalla, Chugach Mts.
History
Name used by local prospectors "because the stream divides, one part flowing to Bering Lake and the other to the Katalla River," reported in 1905 by G. C. Martin, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
