Description
In Chugach National Forest, bound on the E by the Bering River, on the N by Bering Lake, on the NW by Split Creek and Katalla River, and on the S by the Gulf of Alaska, 6 mi. NE of Katalla. 9 miles long.
History
Named in 1963 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for Don J. Miller (1919-1961), geologist, U.S. Geological Survey, who spent most of his professional career working out the geology of the Gulf of Alaska Tertiary Province.
