Description
Entrance Island is located at SE end of Upper Passage, 0.5 mi. S of Eleanor I., 24 mi. NE of Chenega, Chugach Mts.
History
Local name reported in 1910 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). So named "because the island is at the south entrance to Upper Passage between Eleanor and Ingot Is."
