Shiels Glacier is located trends NE to its terminus 2.5 mi. W of Copper River, 50 mi. N of Katalla, Chugach Mts.
History
Named in 1914 by Lawrence Martin for Archibald Williamson ("Archie") Shiels (1878-1974) of the Copper River and Northwestern Railroad.
