Gannett Glacier is located heads on Mount Gannett trends NW to Knik Glacier 30 mi. SE of Palmer Chugach Mts. 9.5 miles long.

Name reported by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1960; derived from Mount Gannett at the head of the glacier.
