Trends on the west shore of College Fiord, south of Wellesley Glacier, 106 km (66 mi) east of Anchorage, Chugach Mountains. 2.2 miles long.

Name reported in 1910 by U. S. Grant, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); presumably named for Barnard College, part of Columbia Univeristy, New York, N. Y.
