Description
College Fiord is located extends NE off Port Wells, between Point Pakenham and College Point, 63 mi. E of Anchorage, Chugach Mts. 18 miles long.
History
Named in 1898 by members of the Harriman Alaska Expedition after they had named many of the glaciers surrounding the fiord for American colleges.
