Description
Surprise Cove is located on NE coast of Kenai Peninsula, 1 mi. S of entrance to Passage Canal and 10 mi. SE of Whittier, Chugach Mts.

Named by US Grant in 1909 and published by Grant and Higgins (1910-11, p. 402), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
