Sawpit Creek is located heads in Kilbuck Mts. and flows NE to Swift Creek, 29 mi. S of Aniak, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
Prospectors' name shown on a 1914 fieldsheet by A. G. Maddren, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). This probably is meant to be the same stream shown on a manuscript map of the "Kuskokwim Gold Belt," by H. W. Reeth, as "Amotoloriasak River," obviously an Eskimo name.
