Description
Population 54, on right bank of Tuluksak River, 40 mi. southwest of Aniak, Kilbuck, and Kuskokwim Mountains.
History
This mining camp, established about 1915, received a post office, named Nyac, in 1926. The name is derived from the initials of the New York Alaska (Gold Dreding) Corporation.
