Description
Indian River is located heads at confluence of North and South Forks Indian River, flows SW to Carter Bay at Carter, 18 mi. NW of Goodnews, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts. 4 miles long.

Local name obtained in 1914 by US@C&GS; reported in 1919 by G. L. Harrington (in Brooks and others, 1921, pl. 7), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), as Indian Creek.
