Description
Awayak Creek is located heads at Awayak Lake, flows S to Goodnews River, 41 mi. NE of Goodnews, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts. 10 miles long.
History
Eskimo name reported to mean "branch" or "tributary"; published in 1951 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
