History
Eskimo name shown as "Baichron" on an 1898 field sheet by W. S. Post, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); published as "baikron" (Spurr, 1900, map 10). Present-day maps show the Eskimo name "Amakatatee Creek" for this stream.
