Kagati Lake is located connected at its W end to Pegati Lake, 2 mi. N of Nuklunek Mtn., 75 mi. NE of Goodnews, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
Eskimo name, meaning "source," reported in 1898 by J. E. Spurr and W. S. Post, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The lake is source of Kanektuk River.
