Located just W of Saint George, on N coast of Saint George Island, in Pribilof Islands. 0.1 mile across.
History
A translation of the Aleut name, "Tenra'rum'any'i," reported in 1897 by Putnam (1903, p.1016), U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, and so named because "a polar bear was once driven here by the natives, and became mired in the bog which surrounds the lake."
