Description
1 mi. W of Saint George, on N coast of Saint George Island, in Pribilof Islands.
History
This seal rookery is mentioned by Elliott (1881, p.60-61) as having 750 ft. of sea-margin. The Aleut name is Alga-anatorolog, meaning a place where the seals do not go up, name being due to the ridge near the center of this rookery where there are no seals (Putnam, 1903, p.1013).
