Description
Atka Lake is located on west-central Saint George Island, in Pribilof Islands. 0.1 mile wide.
History
This name is a translation of the Aleut name, "Naro'am-an'yi," recorded by Putnam (1903, p.1015), U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, and "so called by Atka (island in the Aleutians) natives having lived in the vicinity." The name was published in 1898 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey.
