Description
On the SE coast of Saint Paul Island in the Pribilof Islands, 1.6 km (1 mi) NE of the village of Saint Paul.
History
A translation of the Russian name "Mys Kitovyy," meaning "whale cape," and reported by H.W. Elliott (1881, St. Paul notes) as "Ketavie" (of a whale) because a, "large right whale was stranded here in 1849."
