Description
Chernofski Point is located at entrance of Chernofski Harbor, on SW coast of Unalaska I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Named by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1938 because of its association with the bay. It was called "East Point" by U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) in 1888.
