Sarana Cove is located on S side of Korovin Bay, N coast of Atka I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Russian name for the Kamchatkan lily, the roots of which are eaten by the Aleuts and made into a liquor. The name was published in Russian-French by Captain Lutke (1836, p. 316, 328), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), as "Sarannaia baie," or "Sarannaia Bay."
