Marble Point is located on E shore of Herendeen Bay, 16 mi. SW of village of Port Moller, near SW end of Alaska Peninsula, Aleutian Range
History
Named in 1890 by Lieutenant Commander Z. L. Tanner, U.S. Navy (USN), "because of the white marble-like appearance of the rock on the point."
