Description
Grant Point is located between Izembek Lagoon and Applegate Cove, 8 mi. NW of village of Cold Bay, at SW end of Alaska Peninsula, Bristol Bay Low.
History
Named by U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) in 1888 for Ulysses Simpson Grant 1822-85, President of the United States from 1868-76.
