Moses Rocks is located off Coal Bay, 8 mi. E of Pavlof Bay, near SW end of Alaska Peninsula, Aleutian Range
History
Local name reported in 1897 by Lieutenant Commander J. F. Moser, U.S. Navy (USN), commander of the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) steamer Albatross from 1897 to 1901, who surveyed and investigated this area.
