Description
Located in an area administered by the Bureau of Land Management, in the Dry Basin, 5.3 km (3.3 mi) east of Chimney Butte, 1.3 km (0.8 mi) south-southeast of Flat Top Reservoir. Elevation: 2,153 m (7,064 ft).
History
Named for Ira Bailey (1886-1965) and Emma Bailey (1883-1958), who homesteaded in the area in 1921.
