In the Absaroka Range, on the NW slope of Clayton Mountain, 56 km (35 mi) WSW of Cody.
History
Named by theU.S. Forest Service (USFS)in 1984 for Urban J. Post (?-1982),U.S. Forest Service (USFS)District Ranger, who with other fire fighters under his command, took refuge on this point during the Blackwater Fire in August of 1937.
