Description
Heads 1.2 km (0.8 mi) W of Jones Pass, 1.6 km (1 mi) SW of Mount Chittenden, flows SSW 1.6 km (1 mi) to Bear Creek, in Yellowstone NP.
History
Named for Lieutenant Joseph Franklin Cummings (1851-1912), a member of the party which attempted in 1881 to find the first wagon route into Yellowstone National Park from the Wyoming Territory.
