Description
Heads in the Town of Lynn, flows generally south and southeast to enter the East Fork Black River 1.7 km (1.2 mi) northeast of the community of Sherwood.
History
Named for Captain Thomas Jefferson LaFlesh, Civil War soldier and founder of the Town of Sherwood, who lived beside this stream from 1869 to 1887.
