Description
Tamarack Branch is located heads 244 m (800 ft) n of State Route 3, 0.8 km (.5 mi) E of the community of Mount Tabor, flows ENE into Little Whitestick Creek, just W of the underpass of the WV Turnpike (I-77), near the Beckley Service Area.
History
Named for the Tamarack tree, native to West Virginia and for the nearby Tamarack Folk Arts and Crafts Center.
