Description
Located within the Henry m Jackson Wilderness Area. Highest elevation 1,463 m (4,800 ft), south and west of Glacier Creek and 1.9 km (1.2 mi) northwest of Monte Cristo Peak.
History
This name first came into use during the 1890s and was named for the Mystery Mine on the west side of the hill. The Washington Board approved the proposal but the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (USBGN) disapproved the name citing its Wilderness Policy.
