Description
On the Cowlitz River in the Big Bottom Valley, 1.6 km (1 mi) downstream from the confluence with the Cispus River, 72 km (45 mi) ESE of Chehalis, 21 km (13 mi) SW of Randle.
History
Named for Chief Scanewa Wahawah (1776-1828) leader of the Cowlitz Tribe.
