Description
On the NW side of Hood Canal 5.6 km (3.5 mi) W of Port Gamble.
History
A Salish Indian word applied to this area by the Wilkes Expedition in 1841. In 2013, the BGN rejected a proposal to change the name to Suquamish Harbor.
