Description
Extends SW from the town of Grand Coulee through the Grand Coulee Canyon, it is formed by a dam near Coulee City.
History
Named for Frank A Banks, former administrator of the US Bureau of Reclamation, in recognition of his work on the Columbia Basin Project.
