Description
Heads 3.7 km (2.3 mi) W of Prospect, flows E and NE to join the Appomattox River, 1.3 km (0.8 mi) upstream from Venables Bridge.
History
A proposal to change the name Harris Creek to Brisentine Creek was submitted in October 1999. In January 2001, the proposal was rejected by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (USBGN).
