Description
Located on the SW tip of Bull Neck in Ingram Bay, at the mouth of Great Wicomico River 0.32 km (0.2 mi) SW of Fleeton.
History
Named for Captain Henry Fleet (1600-1661), who came to Virginia before 1623 and wrote "A Brief Journal of a Voyage made in the Bark 'Virginia' to Virginia and the Other Parts of the Continent of America"; 1890 decision revised (US-T131/1983/Place Names of the Northern Neck of Virginia/Mary R.Miller.
