Description
Located 2.4 km (1.5 mi) east of Big Elk Lake, 0.8 km (0.5 mi) southwest of Island Lake.
History
A proposal to change the name Fire Lake to Chariot Lake was submitted in May 1998. In April 2001, the proposal was rejected by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (USBGN).
