Description
Location by Board on Geographic Names (BGN) card incorrect, MSS Curator (USHS) confirmed correct location of cliff. Said to be a cliff about 2000 feet high (sic)(elevation marks indicate a drop of about 1000 feet from the top of the cliff to the old river bed)
History
So named because a trail leads down the cliff.
