History
Named after William P. Anderson , a prospector who located mining claims at this state in 1889. Little Anderson Bar (UT-T34/#61)shown as a separate location (UT-T34/#42 map) is now considered to be the same. It is also called Schock,or Shock Bar, because Witt Schock also had claims on it in 1898,1908, and 1909. (UT-T34/#61).
