Description
Located on the north shore of Saint Croix, west of Southgate Pond, between Punnett Bay and Chenay Bay, 4 km (2.5 mi) east-northeast of Christianstad; 0.32 km (0.2 mi) wide.
History
The Army Corps of Engineers constructed a causeway which separated the former Southgate Pond into Southgate Lagoon in the west portion and Southgate Pond in the east portion.
