Description
This lagoon is located to the east of and should not be confused with Krause Lagoon Channel, which is located slightly to the west.
History
Named for Lieutenant Krause, Danish local estate owner, received land from the King of Denmark in 1766. The lagoon was over 600 acres before being dredged to construct the channel and port.
