Description
Located on the south side of Lake Whitney, just south of Whitney Dam, 5.6 km (3.5 mi) west northwest of Smiths Bend.
History
Named for George Washington Sosebee (1850-1897) and his descendants, who owned and farmed property near the feature prior to the construction of Lake Whitney.
