Description
Located in central South Dakota, 121 km (75 mi) northwest of Pierre; County Seat: Dupree.
History
Created and organized in 1911, and named for Frank M Ziebach (1830-1929) of Pennsylvania. Mr Ziebach commanded troops in the Indian Wars of 1862 and later established The Weekly Dakotan. (SD-T17/p36)
