Description
Located in northeastern South Dakota along the State boundary lines of Minnesota and North Dakota, 96 km (60 mi) east-northeast of Aberdeen; County Seat: Sisseton.
History
Created and organized in 1883; likely named for S G Roberts, a book publisher from Fargo who also served in the Territorial Legislature in 1879 and 1883. (SD-T17/p32)
