Description
Located 4.8 km (3 mi) south of Pactola and forming part of the divide between Rapid City and Prairie Creek.
History
Named for the Scruton Brothers who secretly maintained a mine at the base of this feature during the early gold rush years. Their mine was not discovered until many years after they passed away. (SD-T17/p397)
