Located in eastern South Dakota, 121 km (75 mi) east-southeast of Pierre; County Seat: Wessington Springs.
History
Created and organized in 1883; named for H A Jerauld of Canton. Mr Jerauld served as a member of the Territorial Legislature when the county was formed in 1883. (SD-T17/p28)
