Description
The waterway rises in Abington on the property of the Abington Club golf course and runs south underground to empty in the Tookany creek opposite Ogontz Field on Church Road.
History
Named for the Shoemaker family, owners of a successful grist mill whose roots in the community extend back to the 1690s.
