Description
Heads 4 km (2.5 mi) northwest of the community of West Chester in West Goshen Township, flows west to join Broad Run, 3.5 km (2.2 mi) north-northeast of Copesville.
History
Named for John Smedley, who settled in the area in the eighteenth century.
